re: faulty clippers purchased july 2024 unacceptable customer service
dear president,
I am writing to formally express my frustration and disappointment regarding a recent issue with a set of oster clippers I purchased in july 2024. I paid $443 in total, including taxes and shipping, and I have not even had these clippers for a full year.
despite the high price and relatively short use, the product has already malfunctioned. what's more troubling is that your company's response has been to suggest that I either pay for repairs or accept a refurbished replacement. I find this entirely unacceptable. I was sold what appears to be faulty equipment and am now being told I must pay more to have something I just bought made right.
as a professional, I chose oster for its reputation for quality and reliability. however, this experience has left me appalled. it is deeply concerning that a company of your stature would treat loyal paying customers this way.
I am requesting a brand-new replacement unit at no additional cost. anything less is unacceptable given the circumstances.
I hope this matter will be handled promptly and professionally.

Title: Extremely Disappointed Not Worth the $443 I Paid
I purchased the Oster Lithium Octane Cordless Clippers on July 22, 2024, and I am beyond disappointed. Less than a year later, they are already shorting out and becoming unreliable.
For a professional-grade product with a $443 price tag (including shipping and taxes), I expected far more durability and performance.
When I contacted Oster for support, I was told I would have to pay to ship them back, and if they couldnt be repaired, Id receive a refurbished pairnot even a new replacement. Thats outrageous. Why should I pay anything when I received a faulty product in the first place? And why would I accept a used replacement for a premium-priced item that didnt even last a full year?
This experience has left me feeling completely let down.
I invested in Oster because I believed in their reputation, but this situation has made me seriously reconsider ever purchasing from them again. Save your moneythese clippers are not worth the risk.

Make better products. Oven is 1 year and 5 months, very seldom used, still looks new and just quit working. I have to buy a new oven, but it won't be Oster.

Electric outlet tripping
They were closed. My Oster counter microwave that Ive only had a few years just started randomly tripping the wall outlet and Ive got to pay for an electrician to be at my home tomorrow to see if its the wall outlet or the Oster microwave that is the problem.
Ihe been using the same outlet since I bought the microwave and havent added anything new. I dont want the Oster microwave to catch my house on fire.

Can you buy blade assembles for an older oyster blender. Ours is leaking and it is not the bowel gasket.

A polite service representative answered and tried to help me. I asked her for information about a local repair service and she provided me with a phone number. So far so good!

Very unusual interface while paying for clipper blade sharpening, encountered unusual ads that went on forever. Will not pay for services rendered until I feel this methodology is more secure.

Issue with Oster Product
Hello,
I received a Oster my blend 400- Watt single speed personal Blender as a gift. I love making healthy personal drinks to carry around, but the first time I used Oster blender to make a smoothie, the drinking bottle cup would not come apart from the metal blender. I turn the drinking bottle upside down to unscrew the plastic bottle from the metal blender part.
The blender metal part is still stuck to the motor bottom.
I did cut my fingers trying to unscrew the metal part from the motor part, but no success getting the attachment to seperate.
Please offer any advice on this situation?

Hinged lid is a hazardous design. Whoever came up with this design has never used it. It is awkward and of no use. I tried taking it back to Walmart,but they wouldn't take it back. Yes I used it,tried
I even had my husband take that stupid thing off but there really isn't any way to safely pick up the lid. Can you send me a lid from previous fry pans that size to fit on this one.
